Synopsis
En 2000, Cathy Freeman, athlète australienne, emporte la finale du 400 mètres des Jeux Olympiques se déroulant à Sydney en Australie. Première athlète d’origine aborigène gagnant une compétition de ce niveau, elle se déclarait fièrement Australienne et aborigène… 20 ans après, le film nous raconte l’histoire de cette jeune femme, aboutit à ce moment d’unité de la nation australienne et montre la grâce, la force et la beauté de ces instants.
